Pain in the butt dog!

We have this dog who purposely causes trouble. I'm serious this dog does things to piss you off. I know it sounds crazy but,he does. Just like today I brought him out to use the bathroom TWICE. A few hours later I walk in to find that he peed on the floor!! Now anytime we leave him in the kennel for the whole day this NEVER happens. It is only when you leave him in a room alone that he does this because he knows he is not supposed to.
Then,as I open my door he runs out of my bathroom,I walk in to find he ate all the cat food. Why did he run,because he knows that A. He shouldn't even be in that part of the house and B. He's not supposed to eat the cat food.
He also steals food off the counter if you leave it close enough. I am so fed up with this dog it's not even funny!

Maybe this dog just wants the attention, Isabella. I have a cat who loves to terrorize our fish. We have this fish in a fish bowl on a table in our living room and she will jump up on that table and stick her furry face right in that bowl. I have even caught her drinking out of the bowl. We used to have a fish tank, until it got too much for my mom and dad. She would not bother the fish in the tank. I guess she knew she could not get to the fish in the tank. Our other cat doesn't do that. But, Bella does.

My Grandma said the same thing. My parents think he just gets mad at them for leaving and throws a tantrum. I am more inclined to believe the attention thing. Which I hope is correct because I know exactly how to solve that problem. It's the hardest thing to do too. You just have to ignore it when he does something bad. Give him no attention at all for it. When he sees that it's not getting him attention he will stop. Or at least in my theory he will. Just give him attention when he is behaving himself. If he is seeking attention he won't care if it's negative or positive,whatever gets him attention he will do.

LOL That's funny! You provided her a water bowl and entertainment! She must love you for that!

Yeah. She loves me for that. She loves me so much that when she goes over there to drink out of the bowl, she comes over to me asking for treats.

You are SMART, Isabella. You have your dog figured out. I had a dog that was DESTRUCTIVE. That dog destoryed everything in her path. She was just like a tornado. Everything in her path was destroyed. She was a Yellow Lab. I got her from my brother and his wife. I should have known better than to get anything from them. My brother said his dog got pregnant and she is a Yellow Lab and so was the daddy and like the IDIOT I am, I raised my hand and I said, "I will take one of those pups." That was a HUGE mistake. If you have all day, I can tell you all the things she destroyed.

I do indeed have all day today and tomorrow. I don't know if I have that dog figured out but,I am pretty sure that's his problem. And the fact that he gets bored if no one is around. I thought it was separation anxiety but,I was in the house so,I don't know. It's a shelter dog and they come with problems. My parents love their new baby but,he is a pain in my butt. That dog already chewed up a good pair of shoes and a remote control.

Hmm. Isabella, have you thought about taking the dog to obedient school?

Our dog dug up my mom's flower bed. She tore two wires from under our van. The she proceeded to tear my dad's lawn mower up. I really got chewed out for THAT one. We have a driveway monitor that goes off whenever someone comes to the house, she tore THAT out of the ground. And my dad put it back and she went back down there just as pretty as you please, and tore it right back out.

I don't know what they could do but,I know obedience school is expensive down here. It's not my dog,anyway. He's my parents' dog. They got him because my Mom wanted a small dog to sleep with. She loves Chihuahuas. However,my Dad hates small dogs and only likes big dogs. So,they kinda compromised (not really,but,whatever.) and got a large Labrador,golden retriever or whatever he is from the shelter and named him Ritz. He sleeps with her but,takes up the whole bed and won't budge when she tries to move him.

Well, I am with your dad on this one. I like bigger dogs, too. The reason I like bigger dogs is because they make better watchdogs. Now, when I was a teenager we had a medium sized dog, and people were afraid of him. He DID look scary with those yellow eyes and when he beared his teeth, WHEW, that dog even scared ME. He was part Collie and part Airedale. And those Airedales ARE kinda mean.

Oh yes,I have seen those babies. I bet they can be scary. I like some big dogs but,not the ones that drool a lot. I can't stand dog drool ugh!

LOL. I don't like dogs that drool, either. There is one dog that drools and I can not think of the breed of this dog, but, one of these dogs was on the movie, Turner and Hooch, and just about every scene that had that dog in it, he had drool hanging from his mouth. I could not watch that movie because of that dog. My mom and dad watched it when it first came out and I got up and left the room. It gagged ME.

LOL I have never seen that movie but,the breed that comes to mind is a Saint Bernard. It was the dog in the movie

he was a Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff). I can agree with this because we have a Mastiff in our house. She drools horribly whenever she drinks and it's just so nasty. I can't stand it. Sure,she is a sweet dog but,you constantly have to step over her and she gets stuff all in her droopy lips,drools and just UGH!

I THOUGHT that was what the breed was. But, I wasn't sure. I am not an expert on dogs.

I am no expert,either. But,I can usually tell what a dog breed is or at least what it has in it. This one,I was way out of the ball park!

I used to be like that with cars. I used to could tell you what make they were and the year they were made. NOW, I don't know shit from shine ola when it comes to cars.

I never could. I am so ignorant with cars. It's terrible. Both my brothers tried to teach me to hot-wire a car and change the tires. I'm not sure I could do either lol. Not that I have any actual use for the first one.

Well, IF you left your keys in your house and had to go somewhere in a hurry, knowing how to hot wire a car would come in very handy.

If I'm not mistaken you wouldn't really want to do something like that because then,you would never need a key again. Anyone could take your car,you no longer need the keys to start the engine.

I wish MY brother would do something constructive like that. All HE knows is to marry bitches who makes everyone's lives miserable that she comes in contact with and when you try to call her on it HE takes her side. Which I could see where he would take her side IF she was pretty. But she has NO redeeming quailties. Except she is a good cook and she DOES have BIG honkers. I have never seen such BIG winnebagos on anyone before in my life.

Well,my brother is about to marry someone who thinks she knows everything and can cook. She can kinda cook,I guess but,she thinks she's the best cook in the world. If you try and tell her anything she thinks she knows best. It's pretty irritating. I had thought about using magick to stop the wedding but,it would be the wrong thing to do. Plus it would just come back to haunt me when he married someone worse!
